The Position:

As a member of our Human Resources team, you will serve as a key business partner to our US manufacturing and field services operations. In this role, you will effectively and collaboratively work with an onsite HR Administrative Business Partner in delivering an exceptional experience for associates and HR program effectiveness. This includes developing timely and effective HR solutions to address needs and issues in the full range of HR activities/lifecycle.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with leaders and associates to identify and solve people issues whether that be to recruit, coach, performance manage, update policies, processes, succession plan, train, engage and create an environment where associates are highly engaged and RPS a workplace of choice
  • Collaborate with HR Director to align work with strategic direction of the organization; live our organizational values
  • Act as back up to HR Administrative Business Partner
  • Build relationships while modeling and inspiring a culture of mutual accountability, constructive collaboration and operational excellence
  • Continuously improve, develop, HR programs, policies, practices & processes to be more effective in people management
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors and managers that supports operational excellence
  • Partner with teams to keep a pulse of what’s going on within their teams and how this may impact the business
  • Support associates with general questions & issues
  • Support, lead recruitment efforts, and onboarding
  • Embrace continuous improvement in all areas of work
  • Provide input and suggestions on business unit, HR program planning
  • Work closely with leaders and employees to improve engagement, skills, morale, productivity and retention
  • Support & train leaders to utilize ADP and leverage dashboards and tools for more effective associate management
  • Know and report on HR KPI’s and based on data suggests areas of focus
  • Support in organizational-wide initiatives and projects, including workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
  • Collaborate and partner with the broader HR team to roll out all key people processes around compensation reviews, benefits, and learning & development programs
  • Stay up to date on legislative compliance and people trends
  • Be a trusted advisor and partner on all people-related matters

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of HR business experience within a manufacturing &/or field services environment supported with appropriate HR education
  • Strong preference for ADP experience & capability
  • Strong computer, digital skills; learns quickly and uses curiosity and grit to figure things out, find a better way
  • Well-rounded experience with full cycle HR activities: recruitment, retention, employee relations, performance management, policy development, talent development, HR program development
  • Highly organized with ability to focus to get things done, and adapt when needed
  • Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt associates
  • Ability to coach & influence leaders and associates
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrates curiosity, seeks to understand the business and our associates to develop better solutions and be efficient and effective
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic environment, can work with ambiguity and drive clarity and progress
  • Highly accurate in your work and demonstrates confidentiality, sensitivity when handling associate information
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws in order to build and lead compliant practices
