The Position:

This role will be responsible for providing our customers with strategic advice on product design, pipe routing and layout, as well as as managing projects with both external and internal customers to ensure customer satisfaction is maximized and RPS project goals are achieved.

What You Will Do:

  • Liaise with customers to communicate schedule, project progress, information transfer, etc.
  • Provide information and collaborate with production to assist in materials scheduling
  • Provide guidance and support within Project Coordination and project teams
  • Project manage purchase orders to ensure customer satisfaction:
    Contract acceptance and administration
    Communication of scheduling
    Document submissions
    Collaborate with engineering/drafting on design/drawing schedule
    Timely accurate invoices
    Monitor Project budgets for labour and material
    Maintain and improve expected project margins
    Order special components
    Work orders, QA forms and tags
    Reporting progress to management
    Warranty & credit
  • Understand the technical capabilities of our products and how they are manufactured
  • Effectively communicate technical details to stakeholders
  • Guiding project through the manufacturing phase and linking them to the installation plan
  • Following projects through quotation phase to installation phase
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Engineering Degree or a technical degree related to design and / or piping
  • Project Management Skills; planning, scheduling, resource allocation, etc…
  • Background in Manufacturing, Piping, or Construction
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical issues, drawings, and specifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with knowledge of production and quality assurance, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management systems
  • Ability to communicate technical details to customers
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and team building skills at all levels within an organization (Internal and external)
  • Working knowledge of applicable software programs (i.e. Syspro, Microsoft Office suite, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Must have valid passport and ability to travel internationally
